Hi my name is Joan I graduated on 1967 from Ryerson's Dental Assistant course after finishing grade 12 at North Toronto Colligate, later became a Certified Dental Assistant through U of T. I have worked as a dental assistant in Toronto and for a short time in Vancouver, covering different fields, such as a children's only practice, Prosthodontics,
Oral Surgery and General Dentistry. In 2000 I received my HARP certificate from George Brown College and now I am working part time as a dental receptionist for Dr. Safari and Associates. Outside of Dentistry I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband of nearly 39 years, three grown children and a beautiful chocolate Labrador. I still find time to be involved with the Church that I attend and just recently joined a fitness Club.

Hello, my name is Colleen and I am the Dental Hygienist working with Dr. Safari at both his Newtonbrook and Forestwood offices. I'm committed to helping you improve, and maintain your oral health. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have regarding your oral health. My emphasis is on prevention of gingivitis and periodontitis and when it happened treat it in a caring matter. I would like to take my time to educate my patients and inform them of existing or potential problems. I look forward to meeting you and working together with you for a healthy smile!

Hi my name is Sharzad I began my career in 2006 as a preventive dental assistant. My experience encouraged me to continue my education and I graduated as a dental hygienist from Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2008. I am looking forward to meeting new patients and welcoming new experiences and challenges I am constantly learning and growing everyday, and really looking forward to providing my clients with the very best dental hygiene care that suites their needs. As a dental hygienist I am devoted to continuing my education and keeping up with current trends in the field. I am a proud mother of two precious boys and health and fitness are a priority for them. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
